Tourism Upgrade with Holly G

Holly Galbraith interviews leaders in tourism, marketing and tech, and I always learn something new after listening to her podcasts, Tourism Upgrade with Holly G.

A favourite of podcast of mine is her interview with Lee Siefken, Director of Marketing at Intercontinental Hotels Group.

Lee shares how they apply consumer-first marketing on an ongoing basis through their staff. Consumer first marketing is the foundation strategy of everything we teach at Tourism eSchool, and it’s so great to hear an example of it being applied by a tourism brand.

Destination Think

Former Adelaideian Rodney Payne and his team are global leaders in destination marketing strategy and the Destination Think blog is full of real-life examples of destinations rocking their marketing.

There are too many great blogs to pick just one, however check out the Consumer Engagement Blogs, and learn how different tourism brands are creating customer centric experiences which then lead to positive word of mouth marketing for tourism brands.
